Our laboratory offers several different types of diagnostic testing. We are able to run in-house samples; as well as send samples to out of house laboratories for further diagnostic testing.
IN-HOUSE TESTING
- Urinalysis
- Cytology (looking at the microscopic appearance of cells)
- Blood Smears
- Skin Scrapes – for diagnosis of ectoparasites
OUT OF CLINIC LABORATORY
- Fecal testing- to test for intestinal parasites
- Bloodwork
- Urine – for further testing (culture)
HISTOPATHOLOGY/CYTOLOGY
- Lump diagnostics – benign vs. malignant
- Fine needle aspirates – benign vs. malignant
