One method our clinic frequently uses involves spraying Feliway (a calming pheromone for cats) or Adaptil (dog appeasing pheromone) in the exam room prior to your arrival. If you animal is in pain, we will administer prior pain medication after our assessment. Our staff are trained to use minimal restraint techniques that will help avoid any pain and stress. The use of treats in the exam room will also help your pet feel more at ease.
